Although the building remains intact, calling it a ‘recreation’ might seem odd. However, as its beautiful full view is currently obscured by trees, the reproduction is, so to speak, ‘a recreation for savoring.’
The data creation was based on a magazine called “KENCHIKU BUNKA” (November 1957, Special Issue on Rengo Sekkeisha), and I referenced the drawings from that issue. Unfortunately, the drawing for the ticket shed was not included, so it was excluded from the reproduction.
From the photos of the building at the time of its completion, it is clear that there was a fantastic view overlooking Tokyo Bay. With that spacious feeling in mind, I reconstructed the background and created the 3DCG.
